Our Story

FortressGuard started with a simple idea: build a local IT company with a friend.

As we worked with businesses around our hometown, we began to notice what truly kept them running. Behind the scenes were industrial systems, facility controls, and operational equipment that rarely received the same attention as traditional IT. Many local manufacturers depended on these systems every day, yet cybersecurity was often an afterthought.

That insight shaped how FortressGuard evolved. Instead of focusing on IT alone, we broadened our work to include the operational systems organizations rely on just as heavily.
